I have been tutoring for 22+ years. I am classically trained, but I enjoy teaching and playing all music styles from the most advanced classical/concertos to Irish fiddle, blues, jazz, klezmer, and more. I've composed music for and played with bands, so I can help you with your compositions, too. I have played in a variety of professional orchestras and ensembles. As a former music scholarship and award-winning student, I can help students prepare for auditions at all levels. I have attended, lectured, and performed at several Suzuki Violin conferences, and I'm trained to teach book levels 1-10. I have studied and performed most major classical violin repertoire at music conservatory, including Unaccompanied Bach, Paganini Caprices, Mozart Concerti, and all major concerti. 

Locally, I have taught through Carroll University, UW-Waukesha, White House of Music, Beihoff Music, Outpost Music, and the Chicago Fine Arts Institute.  I was Music Director and Summer Camp Director for GMES.  I have worked for the Oconomowoc Area/Elmbrook Schools and led an Elmbrook Launch student team to a first place finish in their 2025 cohort. I am the owner of Love Art Shop, LLC. I received an MBA (2024), graduating with a 4.0 in Organizational Development. I most recently served as Executive Director of the Wisconsin Philharmonic.   

My students have placed at all levels in the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra, where they have received top prizes in their concerto competitions. They have held concertmaster and leadership positions within all levels of this group, and they have had section solos. They are leaders, concertmasters, soloists, and section tutors at their schools.

My students have competed and won top prizes (State and District) at the Wisconsin School Music Association (WSMA,), 4-H, and The Wisconsin Federation of Music Clubs. They have been chosen by their school instructors to play in the Wisconsin Young Artist Honors Orchestra, and they have been scholarship recipients in the Wisconsin Philharmonic Shining Stars Competition.  

My students also love to perform in a variety of ways: orchestras, chamber music groups, Irish fiddle solos, nursing homes, places of worship. 

Former students have gone on to major in music at the Eastman School of Music, the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, UW-Madison, and many other well-established college music programs.
